Omega X turns their NO LIMIT U.S tour into a party in Washington, D.C!
Omega X is a K-pop group based in South Korea consisting of 10 members, Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Hyuk, and Yechan. On August 19th, six out of the ten members came to the Karma DC Live Music Venue in Washington, D.C for their NO LIMIT tour. This was my first time seeing Omega X live and I loved it! I had such a good time, I was thinking of how I wish I had planned to go to the next city on the tour to enjoy this show once more. That’s how fun and exciting this concert was!

The anticipation of waiting for Omega X to come out on the stage was so exciting. I loving being in the crowd with the sea of fans and having my camera ready to take photos. Their fans, (affectionally called “FOR X”) were so nice and supportive of the members! Their love and admiration for the guys could be felt within the crowd. It felt like a huge party where everyone knew each other through Omega X. The crowd cheered for them saying “O-MEGA-X” and when they came out the aura that these guys exhibited was insanely cool! Omega X began with their song “BALIA CON OX” which is a latin inspired pop song meaning '“Dance With OmegaX”. This being their intro song was so fitting since the Karma venue in D.C has the same layout and vibe as a club or a lounge. Which made this show feel very unique. Compared to other K-pop shows I’ve been to, Omega X’s concert felt like being at a party and I loved that. Once they got on stage, They had a look on their faces like they knew they were bringing a good time to D.C tonight. I could tell they were excited to see how their fans filled up this venue to the back where the bar was. This pictures I captured of Omega X seeing their crowd at Karma DC is my favorite photo from the night.

I loved seeing their excitement, it made me so happy and proud of them as well. I’m new to Omega X but I can call myself a fan of them and their music now. I saw how they gave a purely positive and fun party energy to their fans that night. It was so beautiful to see how the fans reciprocated it to OMEGA X with dancing and singing along with them, It would make any new listener in the crowd a fan. When they played their song, ‘BINARY STAR’, there was a sea of beautiful light sticks adorning the crowd. It’s a beautiful tradition in K-pop culture for fans to bring colorful light sticks and show their appreciation for the artists! I’ll never get tired of this beautiful sight. Even one of the members said it looked so beautiful because they were all rainbow colors.
At some point during the show Omega X danced to three faced paced songs straight with no breaks. Which was very impressive, I could see the effort they put into their performances. I can tell how much stamina and hard work it takes to prepare and dance this passionately on a U.S tour. When you go to see Omega X, you’ll love their amazing dancing skills!

Towards the end of the show, they left and came back for an encore of 3 songs! The guys came out in relaxed white tour t-shirts and it was nice to see a chill side of them after they gave such a passionate performance all night. Each member got to speak about how they felt meeting everyone tonight and how they’re excited to come back to D.C for another show in the future. For their song, ‘Life Detox’ they told the fans they were filming a music video on their phones with the crowd! It was so cute and special watching them turning their phones in selfie mode to make cute videos with their fans as if they have known them forever.
I don’t know if this was on purpose, but there was barely a phone in sight from the crowd as OMEGAX filmed the live music video with their fans. Everyone was connected through this special moment while smiling and having a good time with the guys. ‘Life Detox’ speaks of needing a break from pressure and stressors in life, this concert was that detox for many people tonight including OMEGA X and I loved being apart of that beautiful moment in time.
“Carefree I’ll mess around, alright, I’m goin’ off-mode. // Can’t keep up anyway, lifе detox. It’s a life, it’s a lot, huh
Mm, full up on toxic, blow it away
Day full of issues, I’ll say no thanks”
Their latest EP, Uncapped is filled with fast paced. party vibes like their title track. ‘UNCAPPED’. They also have a cute, romantic pop song called ‘Close To Me’ that always puts a smiile on my face to hear. If you enjoy passioante artists who truly care about their fans and their artistry has no limit, please go see Omega X on tour!
